Brian Cooney

Five years after graduating from the Berklee College of Music and playing the Boston club circuit, Brian Cooney had an encounter with Jesus Christ that changed his life and miraculously delivered him from a decade of alcohol addiction. His desire is to awaken the church universal, heal the broken, and draw people from all walks of life into a renewed love relationship with Jesus Christ.

Brian is a worship pioneer with a ministry gift that strikes a cord with this present generation. He has published works being sung in churches throughout the world and has had the privilege of leading worship alongside many national and international church leaders and ministries.

Brian served for 12 years on the pastoral staff of a vibrant and influential church in the Northeast before being called to Nashville, TN.  In addition to being an itinerant worship minister, he presently holds the position of “Worship Life Coordinator” at The Gate, a growing church located in the Greater Nashville, TN area under the direction of Pastor Steve Fry (Sparrow Recording Artist, International Teacher and Author).
